All-in
To go 'all-in' is to bet or call with all the chips in front of you. As you cannot dig into your pocket for more money during a hand, this is also the maximum you can bet in a hand.
In the case where even all of your chips are not enough to call your opponent's bet or raise, an additional side pot will be created in which you have no interest. If you win that hand, you can only take the money from the main pot.
