These are the cards dealt face up that are shared by all the players in a community card poker game (eg. Texas Hold'em). Also known as community cards.
Depending on the particular poker variant played, all players can use some or all of the cards on the board, together with some or all of their hole cards, to build their best poker hands.

In the game of Hold'em, there are up to 5 community cards on the board. The first three cards is known as the flop, the fourth card is called the turn and the last card is known as the river.
