The following list the 10 best starting hands in Texas Hold'em. Variations of this list exist but the differences are minor.

The top 5 hands are also known as premium hands and some very tight players play only these premium hands. This extra level of tightness is more common in No-Limit games where the blinds are much smaller when compared to the size of the bets, making it profitable to hold out for better starting hands.
